What can we Repair?
Most types of damage to your iron can be repaired including damaged cords, cases, and internal circuitry.
We are able to repair 95% of the units that are sent to us.

How much will it cost?
The cost of repair is a flat rate of $30.00 per unit regardless of what repairs are made. This flat
rate includes parts and labor. Return shipping is additional and varies upon location and shipping
method. Generally UPS Ground shipping to the continental US range between $4.00-$9.00 for a single
unit. Postage to deliver the parcel to SalonArt is at customer's expense.

Shipping rates outside of the contiguous US
Return shipping for Canadian customer is at $17.00 for a single unit. Delivery is made via USPS Global
Express Mail and ships within 3-5 business days.
Return shipping to AK, HI and PR are based on UPS Shipping rates. The cheapest shipping method is
generally under $20.00 for a single unit. Please proceed with repair request on this website for
exact postage.
Any taxes, duties or brokerage charges assessed on international shipments will be the responsibility
of the recipient. We will make every effort to provide the necessary documentation so that there
is no taxes or duties assessed on your returned used goods.

What if it cannot be repaired?
In the rare case that you unit is unrepairable, you have the option of purchasing a replacement unit at a
discount. If you choose not to purchase a replacement unit, your repair cost will be refundable. No
matter what problem you may have with your unit, we can help you get it working at a minimal cost.

What is the turn around time?
Our turn around time is 5 business days from the day we receive your unit. Return shipping method is at
your selection. The cheapest method is UPS ground, which ships within 3-5 business days.

Is there a warranty on the repairs?
Yes. Repairs made by SalonArt carry a 6 month limited warranty from the date of repair. This warranty
does not cover damage made to the unit(s) due to misuse or abuse. If you experience problems with a
unit we have worked on within the 6 months, you made return the unit to us, and we will gladly make
re-repairs at no additional charge.

Do I need my receipt?
For warranty repair services, you will need to provide an original receipt.
For out of warranty repair services, proof of purchase is NOT required.

What is an original receipt?
For warranty claims you will need to provide proof of purchase in the form of an original sales receipt.
Original sales receipt must show:
- Store name
- Date of purchase
- Itemized sales list
- Price of unit
We are unable to accept as proof of purchase,
- Handwritten receipts
- Photocopies of the original
- Credit card receipts with no itemization or
- Credit card statements

Can I use my credit card transaction stub as a receipt?
Credit card transaction stubs are NOT acceptable as a original sales receipt as it does not
indicate what item was purchased.

My iron was a gift and I do not have a receipt.
Without the original sales receipt showing that your iron is within the year warranty period, the
repairs on your iron will be considered an Out of Warranty repair. Please follow directions for the
Out of Warranty repairs.

I have a defective iron, what do I do?
Visit the repairs page
to see if it is serviced by SalonArt. If the iron is serviced by us, follow the
instructions to help you determine what kind of repair coverage you are eligible for. Once you
complete the repair request form, you will be issued a Service Request Number (SRN) then presented
with an address to mail your iron, along with shipping instructions.

Can I get my iron back faster?
To have your unit returned to you faster, you may opt for expedited shipping methods to and
from our facilities.

What is a Money Order and where can I get it?
A Money Order is sometimes called a cashier's check and is issued at banks, post offices, and stores like
Western Union, Money Tree, etc. You will need to make the Money Order payable to "SalonArt"
and enclose it in the box when you send us your iron.

I do not have my original box. Will this be okay?
You do not need to send your iron to us in an original box, whether it is a warranty repair or out of
warranty. Any good sturdy box that will protect your unit during shipping will suffice.

My ceramic plates have come off. Is there glue I can use?
No, no glue is going to hold at the temperatures these irons operate at. You will need to send your iron
in for repairs.

Where can I purchase refurbished Ceramic Hairstyling Irons?
You can purchase refurbished ceramic hairstyling irons through SalonMagik. Refurbished units are assembled
at our premises with original manufacture's parts and carry a 6 month Limited Warranty.
